Google Ads for dental practices, built on 10+ years of doing nothing else.

Done-for-you search campaigns that bring in new patients, from a team that has run ads for hundreds of dental offices. You own the ad account, you pay Google directly, and your report shows calls and bookings, not clicks.

Why practices choose us

Plain terms, your account, and numbers you can check.

If you have been burned before, by a long contract, a report full of impressions, or an account you could not log into, this is set up the opposite way.

Ten years of dental-only Google Ads

Hundreds of practices' worth of search data means we already know which searches book patients (emergency, implants, Invisalign, new-patient exams) and which quietly burn budget.

You own your Google Ads account and data

Campaigns are built inside an account registered to you. If you ever leave, every keyword, ad and conversion history stays with you.

A flat fee, and ad spend goes straight to Google

Our management fee is quoted up front. Your ad budget is billed by Google to your card, with no markup and nothing hidden inside it.

Reporting in patients, not clicks

Every ad gets a tracked phone number and form, so your monthly report shows calls and booking requests, and which campaign produced them.

You talk to the strategist running your ads

No account manager relaying messages. Questions go directly to the person who built and optimizes your campaigns.

Built to Google's healthcare ad policies

We target by keyword and location only, never by a person's health condition, so your campaigns stay compliant and keep running.

About Molar Compass

We spent the last decade running Google Ads for dental practices inside a large agency: hundreds of offices across general, cosmetic and specialty dentistry. We started this company to do the same work with fewer accounts, no layers between you and the people doing the work, and campaigns you own outright.

What we do

Everything a dental search campaign needs, nothing it does not.

We do not sell SEO, social media or websites. Search ads for dentists is the whole job, and the scope below is included in every plan unless marked as an add-on.

  • Free Google Ads audit

A plain-language review of your current account: what is working, what is wasted, and what we would change first.

  • Campaign setup

Keyword research by procedure, a radius around your office, and ad copy written for patients, not for Google.

  • High-value procedure campaigns

Dedicated campaigns for implants, Invisalign, veneers and emergency visits, each with its own budget and tracking.

  • Call and conversion tracking

Tracked numbers and forms on every ad, so you know which campaign made the phone ring.

  • Google Business Profile optimization

Location assets, hours, categories and photos tuned so your ads and your map listing work together.

  • Landing page recommendations

Specific changes to the page your ads send people to. A full landing page build is available as an add-on.

  • Negative keyword management

Ongoing removal of searches that cost money but never book (jobs, schools, DIY, out-of-area).

  • Monthly report and strategy call

Calls, bookings and cost per new patient, with a call to decide what to do next month.

Start with the audit. It is free, and you keep the findings whether you hire us or not.

How this compares

Us, a typical big agency, or doing it yourself.

An honest comparison. Good generalist agencies exist, and some practice owners run their own ads well. This is where the typical experience differs.

  • Who owns the ad account

    Us
You. Built in an account registered to your practice.
    Typical big agency
Varies. Some agencies build in their own account and keep the history if you leave.
    Doing it yourself
    You.
  • Dental expertise

    Us
Dental practices only. Keyword lists and negatives are already dental-specific.
    Typical big agency
Usually many industries. Dentistry is one vertical among dozens.
    Doing it yourself
You know dentistry; the learning curve is the ad platform itself.
  • Contract length

    Us
    Month-to-month, 30 days' notice.
    Typical big agency
    Often 6 to 12 months.
    Doing it yourself
    None.
  • Who you talk to

    Us
The person who builds and runs your campaigns.
    Typical big agency
Typically an account manager who relays to a separate ads team.
    Doing it yourself
Google's own support, which is focused on spending more.
  • Reporting

    Us
Tracked calls, form submissions and cost per new patient, monthly.
    Typical big agency
Varies widely. Often impressions, clicks and click-through rate.
    Doing it yourself
Whatever you set up and remember to check.
  • Your time required

    Us
About an hour at onboarding, then a short monthly call.
    Typical big agency
Low, once you get past onboarding and approval cycles.
    Doing it yourself
Several hours a week to do it properly, every week.

Agency and do-it-yourself columns describe common patterns, not any specific company.

How it works

Live in about two weeks.

The timeline below assumes you can give us account access in the first few days. Most of the work is ours.

Calm reception area with linen and warm stone
  1. Day 1

    Onboarding

A short call and a form: your procedures, service radius, hours, and access to (or creation of) your Google Ads account and Business Profile.

  2. Week 1

    Audit and build

We review anything you already run, then build campaigns by procedure with tracked phone numbers, forms and a dental negative-keyword list.

  3. Week 2

    Launch

Campaigns go live at the budget you approved. You get a short note on what to expect in the first 30 days.

  4. Every month

    Optimize and report

Bids, search terms and ad copy are adjusted on an ongoing basis. Your report and strategy call cover calls, bookings, and cost per new patient.

Ad spend is separate and billed by Google directly to your card. A common starting range for a single location is $1,500 to $3,000 a month; we recommend a specific number in your audit.

Founding-client offer

4 of 5 founding practice slots left.

We take on a small number of practices at a time so every account gets hands-on attention. The first 5 get founding terms. In return, we ask permission to publish your real call and booking numbers (anonymized if you prefer) once they come in.

  • Reduced management fee for your first 6 months
  • Setup fee waived
  • Priority onboarding: campaigns live within 10 business days
  • Slot count is updated by hand as practices sign. When it reads zero, new clients go on a waitlist at standard terms.

Three scenarios at your budget

Same $2,500 budget and $1,200 per patient, with different cost-per-click and conversion assumptions. The gap between rows is mostly how fast the phone gets answered.

The KPIs on every monthly report

  • Tracked calls and form submissions

Counted per campaign, with call recordings available if you want them.

  • Cost per contact and cost per new patient

Ad spend divided by real contacts and by appointments your front desk confirms.

  • Return on ad spend

Booked patients × your average patient value, divided by ad spend.

  • Call answer rate

How many tracked calls were picked up. The cheapest KPI to improve, and often the biggest.

  • Search terms added and removed

Which searches we started bidding on and which we blocked as wasted spend.

  • Next month's plan

What changes, what budget, and what you need to do on your side, if anything.

Questions

The things practice owners ask first.

Anything else? Request an audit and ask in the notes, or email kingsimon2@molarcompass.com.

How much should I spend on ads?

It depends on your market and the procedures you want more of. A single-location general practice commonly starts in the $1,500 to $3,000 per month range; competitive metro areas and implant campaigns run higher because each click costs more. Your free audit includes a specific recommendation with the reasoning behind it, and you set the final number.

How soon should I expect new patients?

Campaigns usually go live within two weeks of onboarding, and calls can start the first week they run. The first 30 to 60 days are about finding the searches that convert and cutting the ones that do not, so cost per new patient typically improves over the first few months rather than landing on day one. We do not guarantee a number of patients, and we would be cautious of anyone who does.

Do I need a new website?

Usually not. Ads work best when they send people to a page that loads fast on a phone, shows your phone number and address at the top, and makes booking obvious. We will tell you what to change on your existing site; if a dedicated landing page is the better option, we can build one as an add-on.

Who owns the Google Ads account?

You do. We build in an account registered to your practice and your billing, and we work inside it with manager access. If we part ways, you remove our access and keep every campaign, keyword and conversion record.

What if I want to cancel?

Month-to-month. Cancel any time with 30 days' notice. There is no cancellation fee. Because the account is yours, nothing has to be rebuilt if you pause or move on.

Is this HIPAA compliant and within Google's rules?

Campaigns target by search term and location, never by a person's health condition, which is what Google's healthcare policies require. Call tracking numbers are set up so recordings can be turned off if your practice prefers not to keep them, and any call-tracking or form vendor that could touch patient information should sign a business associate agreement with you. We will walk through this at onboarding; this is not legal advice.

Which areas do you serve?

We work with practices across the United States. Everything happens over video calls, email and text, so location does not change the service. Ads themselves are targeted to a radius or set of zip codes around each of your offices.

Who actually runs my campaigns?

A senior strategist with 10+ years of Google Ads for dental practices and hundreds of offices behind them, most of it inside a large agency where the account manager and the person doing the work were different people. Here they are the same person, and that is who answers your emails.

What do you need from me to start?

About an hour: a short onboarding call, access to your Google Ads account and Google Business Profile (or we create them with you), a card on file with Google for ad spend, and your decisions on procedures, radius and budget.
